Healthy Eating
We will provide breakfast, mid-morning snack, and lunch. A cooked tea for babies and a light tea for preschool is provided in the afternoons. Throughout meal times children are encouraged to self serve and make healthy choices. Fresh drinking water is available at all times.
All meals for the children are prepared daily from fresh ingredients by our in-house Nursery Chefs. Our menus offer a wide variety of balanced and nutritious meals, catering for many dietary requirements.
EYLogs
At sweet cuddles Nursery we use EYlogs to keep parents updated on their child's progress and development. It's a great way for parents to stay connected with their child's education and see what they've been learning and achieving at nursery. Through Eylogs, parents can access photos, videos, and observations of their child's activities, as well as communicate with staff. It's a convenient and interactive way to be involved in your child's early years education. If you have any more questions about Eylogs, feel free to speak to the Manager. .
EAL
We promote EAL (English as an Additional Language) by creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all children. We provide resources and activities that support language development, such as bilingual books, language games, and visual aids. Our teachers and staff also use gestures, body language, and simple language to ensure effective communication with children who are learning English. We encourage peer interactions and buddy systems to foster language skills and cultural understanding. Additionally, we collaborate with families to understand their child's language background and incorporate their home language into our learning environment.
SEN
In our nursery, we strive to provide inclusive support for children with special educational needs (SEN). We work closely with families and professionals to create individualized learning plans and accommodations for children with SEN. Our staff receives training to effectively support and engage with children who have diverse needs. We also collaborate with outside agencies and specialists to ensure that each child's unique needs are met. Our goal is to create an inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
